Kae has been running all over trying to find a nice dress to wear out this weekend.  She has decided she wants to celebrate her birthday in style.  Our group of friends don’t want her to spend any money on a new outfit.  You should see her closet.  There are any number of dresses that she could wear.  A lot of her clothes have not even been worn once.  We think she is a shopaholic, and we can’t seem to talk any sense to her.  She just puts on those blinders and keeps shopping.  Kae works hard at her job, but she saves nothing.  She talks constantly about filing Chapter 7 and getting from under, so she can start a new life, but as always it is all just talk.  We are trying to talk her into coming to a sit down dinner that one of us will put on for her birthday.  We wanted to surprise her but she started talking about shopping for an outfit, so we thought if we went ahead and told her that we were planning a home cooked dinner for her at my place, that she would not go shopping.  It did not a bit of good.
